Peter Ventre is a Board Certiﬁed Psychiatrist, who founded Ventre Medical in 2011. Ventre Medical has 8 full-time and 2 part time psychiatrists that provide services in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They are the exclusive providers to Broward General, a 700 bed hospital with a psychiatric ER and an 80 bed unit; Imperial Point Hospital, with a psychiatric ER and a 60 bed unit; and Cleveland Clinic, in Fort Lauderdale. He has a passion for helping individuals with substance abuse issues and provides, with his team, directorship and management of 12 treatment centers. He is the Chairman of Department of Psychiatry at Broward General Hospital. He is the co-founder of DreamLife Recovery; which opened a treatment center in Donegal, Pennsylvania in February 2019. This treatment center offers Detox, Residential, PHP and IOP services.
Dr. Howard Schwartz is a Board Certiﬁed Gastroenterologist, who has a special interest in clinical trials. He joined Ventre Medical and Research Centers of America in 2017. He is also a founder of Detox MD, a management company for facilities for Drug and Alcohol Treatment Centers. He has conducted numerous clinical trials in pain management, psychiatry, and addiction therapy. He is the co-founder of DreamLife Recovery; which opened a treatment center in Donegal, Pennsylvania in February 2019. This treatment center offers Detox, Residential, PHP and IOP services.
Lidice Morales, an honors graduate from the Kaiser University, has made a name for herself as the Director of Nursing at several behavioral health facilities and as the Director of Operations for Detox MD. Now she is the VP of Operations at DreamLife Recovery. She strives for better patient care through constant self-improvement and furthering her education. Her steadfast work ethic and passion in the field has remained the most important aspect of her professional career; showing dedication to not only the acquisition of new knowledge, but also its mastery. Lidice believes that a professional work atmosphere fosters cohesion and malleability amongst herself and her coworkers; thereby increasing both the level of patient care and quality of life.
Dr. Gina Marchando comes to DreamLife Recovery holding a Doctorate and Master’s degree in Family Therapy, Family Systems Healthcare, and certification in Traumatology. Dr. Marchando is, perhaps, most well-known for her contribution to the professional field serving clients with comorbid PTSD and Dissociative Disorders; along with numerous licensures, publications, and an extensive public speaking record. With nearly 15 years of experience in the recovery industry, Dr. Marchando brings programmatic and directorial skills, as well as certificates in Incorporation Therapy and Hypnotherapy. Dr. Marchando is the Executive Director for DreamLife Recovery.
Dave Bontempo is a lifelong resident of Bucks County, PA and is a 2007 graduate of Gwynedd Mercy University. Mr. Bontempo found sobriety in 2011, and recognizes the value of this daily gift. He began his career in the behavioral health arena as an alumni and aftercare coordinator. With a desire to use both personal and professional experience, he pursued a career in outreach. Helping patients navigate the journey, from active addiction to active recovery, is Dave’s favorite thing about this job. He has worked his way up the ranks of nationally recognized programs as a National Community Outreach Director and most recently, CMO. Mr. Bontempo looks forward to continuing to give back and help patients and families escape the vicious cycle he once lived. He thanks his family for never giving up on him. He resides in Warrington with his wife Kelly and their children Emma, Luca, and Kaia.
Alexis Alioto is a skilled administrative professional, with over 10 years of experience in the addiction treatment industry. She has worked in all aspects, ranging from Joint Commission standards to revenue management, and even global operational functioning. Having worked in Hollywood, FL helping manage considerable budgets and staff, Alexis brings diligence, as well as experience. Alexis also has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Amy comes to us with a unique skill set, which she is ready to put to use at DreamLife Recovery. She has her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is licensed to practice both mental health and physical health, bringing holistic healing to all of our clients. Amy is from the area and lives on a horse and tree farm, integrating her love of animals and nature with different modalities of healing. Amy has experience in the drug and alcohol realm, mental health, and med/surge. In addition, Amy has experienced some major traumas in her life and has the ability to connect with people based on shared experiences.
